Case Manager Position
Facility: Crossnore School, Inc., is a residential facility in Western North Carolina providing out-of-home placement for children ages 2-21.
Position Title: Mother Child Program Case Manager
Qualifications: Bachelors Degree in Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, Clinical Psychology or related degree.
Summary: Live-in case manager will provide transportation, advocacy and casework responsibilities for mothers and their children; act as liaison with Crossnore staff and community groups in order to ensure development and implementation of viable plans of care for each mother/child family; educate community groups about services provided by the mother/child program.

Blowing Rock Parks and Recreation is looking for mature people to become involved in its summer recreation programs. If you're looking for part-time or full-time employment for the summer, and like to be outside and active, we have positions for you!

AVAILABLE POSITIONS:
Lifeguard: Red Cross Certified (or equivalent certifications considered), First Aid and Adult/Infant/Child CPR required. Part-time and full-time positions available. Rate of pay: $8.00/Hour
Cashier: This position is Monday through Friday at the pool. Responsibilities include but are not limited to handling money, signing patrons up for swim lessons, and making pool passes.
Arts and Crafts Director: This position is part-time. Responsibilities include planning and implementing a creative arts and crafts program for children ages 6-13, and assisting with other camp duties as required.
Summer Day Camp Counselor: Full and part-time positions available. Responsibilities include but not limited to planning and implementing daily activities for assigned age group, ensuring safety of campers during activities. This is a very active, outdoors position.
Park Attendant: This position will start the first weekend in May and run through the end of October. Responsibilities include but are not limited to cleaning restrooms, picking up trash, and overseeing the park.

This position is seasonal but may also offer some off-season hours. Employee is responsible for daily feeding, grooming and handling of animals; for cleanliness and security of enclosures, walking track and grounds; and for the general safety and well-being of Deer Park guests. Qualified candidates will have 2-3 years experience caring for a variety of animals, knowledge of animal hygiene, be capable of some physical effort and be willing to work a flexible schedule and weekends.

High Country Health Care System has an opening for a full-time Bereavement Coordinator to provide supportive services to the terminally ill hospice patient and family members, and to provide assistance and understanding to the family in time of bereavement. This position will cover Ashe and Watauga Counties.
Applicant must have at least a bachelor's degree from a school accredited or approved by the Council on Social Work Education. Must have sufficient experience in the care of the bereaved and have demonstrated abilities in family or individual counseling.
